The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirms 226 new Covid-19 infections in 16 states with the total number of cases in the country now 6,401.
The 226 new cases are 131 in Lagos, 25 in Ogun, 15 in Plateau, 11 in Edo, 7 in Kaduna, 6 in Oyo and 5 each in FCT, Adamawa.
Jigawa, Ebonyi and Borno have 4 new cases each, Nasarawa-3, Bauchi and Gombe-2 each with 1 each in Enugu and Bayelsa.

A total of 90 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across the country with 1 death in last 24 hours. This brings to 1,734 the total number of successfully treated cases with the death toll now 192.
