Nigeria has reported 1,031 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours with total number of confirmed cases now 87,510.
There are 16 states with new Covid-19 cases. These include Lagos-570; FCT-117; Kaduna-109; Nasarawa-34; Bauchi-31; Kano-28;
Plateau and Sokoto-26 each. Other states are Ogun-25; Edo-18; Rivers-16; Abia-10; Imo-7; Taraba-6; Delta and Osun-4 each.
The total number of successfully treated Covid-19 cases in Nigeria is now 73,713 following the discharge of 391 patients.
Nigeria’s Covid-19 death toll rises to 1,289 following 11 new fatalities across the country.
