The Nigeria Customs, Zone D Command in Bauchi says, it has arrested suspected smugglers with six hundred and seventy rounds of cartridges.
Also arrested were two suspected Indian hemp dealers who confessed to the crimes.
The comptroller, Joseph Omoniyi, said that the command, has equally made nine seizures, which include 580, 50kg bags of foreign rice, worth nine million seven hundred Naira.

Other contraband items seized are, 35 litres of foreign vegetable oil, 45 bales of used clothing, 50 bags of foreign mosquito coils and one hundred and seventy-five cartons of foreign soaps , among others.
