The Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Nigeria, Tomáš Výprachtický, has reaffirmed his country’s resolve to deepen bilateral cooperation with Nigeria across key sectors of the economy.
Výprachtický, who made this commitment at a welcome dinner organised for him by the Nigeria–Central Europe Chamber of Commerce (NCECC) in Abuja, said Nigeria’s abundant natural and human resources, coupled with Czech Republic’s engineering and technological potentials, present strong opportunities for expanded cooperation.
Výprachtický, said his goal is to harness and boost the potentials for mutual cooperation between his country and Nigeria.
The event also saw the induction of members of the Advisory Council of the NCECC, among them former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and a Pharmaceutical Technologist,
Dere Awosika, who highlighted the vast opportunities within the platform, particularly for Nigeria’s youthful population.
With the launch of the New Partnership for Development of Africa, NEPDA, later in April 2026, NCECC says this bold new handshake between Africa and Europe will redefine trade, investment, and development.
