Nigeria Governors’ Forum backs Reserved Seats For Women Bill

State Governors have endorsed the economic policies of the Central Bank of Nigeria despite the excruciating pains Nigerian are undergoing as a result of the measures.

Representatives of the apex Bank had briefed the Governors in Abuja at its 6th meeting of the year 2025 on monetary policy measures to curb inflation.

National security threats also dominated the meeting following a presentation from the Director-General of the Department of State Services, DSS.

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF also expressed its commitment to the Reserved Seats For Women Bill whose popularity will be tested in November 2025 at the National Assembly.

The Governors pledged to engage their senators, members of the House of Representatives and State Assemblies to support passage of the bill.
