The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has reported 576 new Covid-19 infections in 15 states bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 89,163.
States with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-277; FCT-90; Oyo-51; Nasarawa-49; Sokoto-23; Anambra-14; Bauchi, Imo and Kano-11 each; Edo and Plateau-10 each; Ogun-9; Osun-5; Jigawa-3 and Rivers-2.
Meanwhile, 416 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria including 287 community recoveries in Lagos State and 60 in Plateau State. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases in the country to 74,789.

There are 8 Covid-19 deaths recorded across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll put at 1,302.
