The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has decried the loss of confidence by the average Nigerian in the justice system.

This was part of concerns raised by the NBA, at Law Week which took place in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

Constant adjournment of cases, lack of dignified courtrooms, corruption in the judiciary and so many other factors affecting the Nigerian Justice system have been emphasized, by the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA.

They also called for radical reforms of the judiciary, as they advocate for the introduction of automated systems and the use of modern technology, which will go a long way in fast tracking the mode of operation, as the court plays a vital role in the life of a nation and its citizens.

The event which was tagged, “Pragmatic Judiciary Reforms, Towards Enhancing Access To Justice”, was an avenue for the law practitioners to deliberate on ways to improve the justice system in the country.
