Nigeria’s Super Eagles have lost 4-2 on penalties to hosts Morocco in semi-final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON. This was after a goalless regulation and extra-time.
Nigeria will now face Egypt in the third place match after the Pharaohs lost to Senegal in the first semi-final game.
The final of the 2025 edition will now be between Senegal and Morocco.
