Nigeria’s former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abdullahi Ibrahim, is dead.
Ibrahim, who is the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria from the northern part of the country was said to have died in a Covid-19 treatment centre in Abuja on Sunday.

His death was confirmed by a close associate, Jibrin Okutepa. The Kogi State-born lawyer of Igala extraction is described as a man with an impeccable character who lived a pious live.
He served as the Attorney-General of the Federation during the military regime of General Abdusalami Abubakar between 1998 and 1999. He was aged 82.
