The Nigerian Navy under the present Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla is resolute, not leaving any stone unturned at ensuring a safe maritime environment for legitimate businesses to thrive and boost the nation’s economy.
The Commander, NNS Beecroft. Commodore Kolawole Oguntuga made this known while briefing journalists in Lagos Tuesday after a coordinated exercise carried out by the Nigeria Navy personnel that led to the intercepted drugs.

Commodore Oguntuga further explained that over two hundred bags of suspected Canabis Sativa( Indian Hemp) worth over sixty million naira were recovered from suspected criminals operating along the Ibeju- Lekki axis, who fled the scene upon sighting the Naval team to avoid arrest.
