Former Chairman, Nigeria Football Association, NFA, Ibrahim Galadima, says a structural change in the sports administration system is needed to reverse Nigeria’s poor performance in major events.
This according to him will involve accountability in sports management and engagements with the private sector.
Galadima who praised the initiatives of both Sports Committee Chairmen in the upper and lower house of the National Assembly was also quick to call for caution in the re-establishment of the defunct National Sports Commission.
The Kano born sports administrator described as tragic, Nigeria’s slump in fortune sports-wise and advocated for key players to re-strategize on how to salvage the worrisome situation.
