The National Chairman and Convener of Nigeria Prays, General Yakubu Gowon (Rtd), has called on all Nigerians to stand in prayers for the unity and peace of the country.
The former Head of State was speaking when he led other members of the Nigeria Prays team to the Government House, Bauchi.

Prayer they say moves mountains, that is why General Gowon and other Christian clergymen are in Bauchi to intercede for Nigeria.
General Gowon commended the existing peace in Bauchi State.
Responding, Governor Bala Mohammed said that the prayer session is very apt for the country.
The Governor, however, gave his assurance to support zonal annual Nigeria Prays as well as all those who will attend the programme from the six North-East states.
