The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC says 603 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in 19 states of the federation.
The new infections which take the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 28,167 are recorded in Lagos-135; Edo-87; FCT-73; Rivers-67; Delta-62; Ogun-47 and Kaduna-20. Plateau has 19 cases; Osun-17; Ondo-16; Enugu and Oyo-15 each; Borno-13; Niger-6; Nasarawa-4; Kebbi-3; Kano-2; Sokoto and Abia-1 each.
Meanwhile 393 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria with the total number of successfully treated cases now 11,462.
The data also shows that 6 new Covid-19 fatalities were reported which have taken the death toll in Nigeria to 634.
