The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC says 15 states have reported 617 new Covid-19 infections across the country in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 72,757.
The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-225; FCT-181; Kaduna-125; Adamawa-25; Nasarawa-20 and Kano-12.
Others are Rivers-8; Edo and Ekiti-4 each; Bayelsa, Ogun and Plateau-3 each; Akwa Ibom-2; Delta and Sokoto-1 each.

The NCDC data shows that 128 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases now 65,850.
Four more persons have died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria with the national death toll put at 1,194.
