Nigeria has reported 343 new Covid-19 cases from 14 states bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 68,303.
The FCT has 123 new Covid-19 cases; Lagos-106; Kaduna-72; Nasarawa-14; Rivers-5; Bauchi, Imo and Ogun-4 each; Ekiti-3; Edo, Oyo and Plateau-2 each; Akwa Ibom and Kano-1 each.
The number of successfully treated Covid-19 cases in Nigeria is now 64,291 following recovery of 452 more patients. This includes 142 patients treated in Lagos State under the community-based case management protocols.
Two more persons have died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria in last 24 hours. This takes the national death toll from the infection to 1,179.
