At least 23 states in Nigeria have reported 1,041 new Covid-19 infections taking the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 81,963.
The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-316; FCT-210; Kaduna-83; Plateau-70; Gombe and Oyo-56 each; Katsina-47; Nasarawa-35 and Kano-33.
Others are Ogun-21; Rivers-17; Niger and Imo-14 each; Delta, Kwara and Edo-12 each; Benue-9; Anambra-8; Ebonyi-6; Taraba and Ekiti-4 each; Bayelsa and Sokoto-1 each
There are 377 Covid-19 patients who have recovered from the infection across Nigeria in last 24 hours with total number successfully treated cases now 69,651
Meanwhile, 6 more persons have die of Covid-19 in Nigeria in the last 24 hours as the national death toll rises to 1,242.
