The preparation for the 2023 National Population and Housing Census continues to gather momentum, with
President Muhammadu Buhari recently launched the Stakeholders Summit, to enable Nigerians to own the national exercise.
The summit which followed the one-month Trial Census set the tone for the exercise expected to hold in April 2023.
The Chairman of the National Population Commission, Isah Kwara, believes the retreat will help the commission to fine-tune its readiness for the exercise ahead.
The retreat is expected to take a holistic evaluation of the trial census and adopt strategies for achieving credible, reliable and generally acceptable census data.
