Nigerian Afrobeats Singers Burnaboy Asake, Rema

The organisers of the annual British Record Industry Trusts Show known as the BRIT AWARDS have unveiled the nominees for the 44th edition of the show.

BRIT Awards is aimed at celebrating British music excellence as well as acknowledge the biggest acts of the year.
Nigerian multi award winning music sensations Burna Boy, Asake, and Rema have been nominated for the 2024 Brit Awards.

The Amapiano singer Asake and the City Boys hit maker Burna Boy who were nominated in the Best International Artist category are to slug it out in the same category with American superstars Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Sza, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lana Del Rey.
23 year old Divine Ikubor known by the stage name REMA was nominated in the Best International Song category for his hit single ‘Calm Down’; alongside African music acts Libianca from Cameroon and South Africa’s fast-rising sensation Tyla.
British singer songwriter Rachel Agatha Keen, known professionally as Raye led the Brit Awards nominees with seven nods; to become the first artist to earn seven nominations in a single year.
