The Nigerian Air Force has reiterated its commitment to protecting the lives of law-abiding citizens and ensuring that no individual in the country is oppressed.

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar gave this assurance during the passing-out parade of Basic Military Training Course 44, held in Kaduna.

After undergoing rigorous military and academic training for six months, the 1,190 certified airmen and airwomen are now ready to serve their nation.

The ceremony commenced with the arrival of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, the Reviewing Officer.

In his address, Air Marshal Abubakar congratulated the recruits and urged them to view their passing out as the beginning of a rewarding career.

He reminded them of their critical role of safeguarding Nigeria’s sovereignty and ensuring national security.

The Air Chief also encouraged the recruits to wear their uniforms with pride and purpose.

He emphasised that the training they received instilled in them courage, discipline, and resilience—qualities essential for professional military service.
