The Nigerian Air Force says it is prioritizing training to build a disciplined and competent workforce, that is combat-ready, to carry out any assigned mission.
The Chief of Policy and Plans at the Nigerian Air Force Headquarters, Air Vice Marshall Soya Olatunde, said this during the beating of the retreat for 1, 123 recruits of Basic 2, Military Course 43 in Kaduna.
They have undergone a six-month intense military training, both in tactical and academic exercises, qualifying them to be airmen and airwomen of the Nigerian Air Force.
The Chief of Policy and Plans, Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshall Soya Olatunde, charged the recruits to always be at their professional best, for effective and efficient performance, in the course of their careers.

He noted that their commitment is paramount for the Nigerian Air Force to effectively discharge its constitutional role, of defending nation’s sovereignty.
The recruits will pass out from the Nigerian Air Force Military Training School, Kaduna on July 8, 2023.
