The 3 Division of the Nigerian Army has held its 2025 Inter-Brigade Corporal and Below Competition in Taraba State with the aim of equipping troops with skills to tackle evolving security challenges.
The competition was flagged off at the 20 Mechanized Battalion Serti, in Gashaka Local Government Area of the state.by the General Officer Commanding 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Eyitayo Oyinlola who was represented by the Commander of the 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa.
Brigadier General Uwa said the competition is designed to sharpen the combat proficiency, leadership skills, endurance as well as foster team work and comradeship among junior soldiers.

Stakeholders in the host community commended the Nigerian Army’s strategy of evolving to meet contemporary security challenges, and urged sister security agencies to do same.
Participants at the the Inter-Brigade and Corporal and Below Competition were rewarded for outstanding performances in various fields.
