The Nigerian Army are counting their loses following a reported ambush on its personnel between Damaturu/Buni Yadi road on January 9, 2021.
The gory images obtained by ait.live from a reliable source shows the scene of heavy casualty on the Special Forces troops.
Though the Casualty figure of troops and insurgent elements have not been ascertain as at the time of filing his report, the incident is, however, yet to be confirmed by the defence headquarters.

The ambush is coming barely few days after the military launched the newly Operation TURA TAKAIBANGO, a subsidiary Operation of LAFIYA DOLE in the North East, aimed at killing Boko Haram and other terrorist groups with uncommon ferocity.
