The Nigerian Army says it remains committed to equipping and training its personnel to effectively tackle security threats and safeguard national security.
Chief of Training, Army Headquarters, Major General Abubakar Ndalolo, said this when he represented the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede at the maiden Senior Army Leadership Seminar held in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital
The Nigerian Army organized the seminar to further enhance the skills, strategies, and innovative approaches of senior officers.
The Commander of the 4 Special Forces Command, Major General Hilary Nzan, said given the country’s pressing security concerns, the seminar will generate proactive strategies to combat emerging threats effectively.
Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Emmanuel Akabe, commended President Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian Army for their ongoing efforts in the fight against insecurity.
Akabe also noted that the current relative peace enjoyed in Nasarawa State was a direct result of the dedication and interventions of security agencies.
This year’s seminar has the theme”Enhancing Operational-Level Command and Leadership within a Joint Environment.”
