The Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Brigadier General Mohammed Aminu has called on citizens to partner security agencies in the provision of information to assist security organisations in tackling crime across the country.
Aminu, who gave the charge during the West African Social Activities, WASA 2023 on Saturday at the Brigade headquarters, Alamala, said citizens owe the nation a duty to share information with security agencies in pursuit of efforts aimed at strengthening strategy to tackle threats.
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State who was represented at the occasion said his administration will continue to support security agencies to effectively police the state.
The West African Social Activities is an annual event organised by the Nigerian Army to celebrate the colorful, diverse and rich cultural heritage of Nigeria.
