The Nigerian Army says it is set to commence Exercise Crocodile Smile 6 in the country.
The exercise is expected to start on October 20 and end on December 31. It will involve all the units and formations of the Nigerian Army.
Briefing reporters at the Special Army Super Camp – One, at Ngamdu, Borno State, the representative of the Chief of Army Staff, who is also the Chief of Training and Operations, Major-General Nuhu Angbazo, said the exercise, as usual, is scheduled to coincide with the last quarter of the year, to check mate crime, and criminality.
He said that the operation will for the first time, also include cyber warfare exercises, among others.

Angbazo hinted that Exercise Crocodile Smile 6, will also have a civil-military component which includes sanitation exercises and medical outreach.
The Nigerian Army pleaded with members of the public to cooperate and show understanding, during the exercise.
