This was made known by the chief of army staff Lt. General Toareed Lagbaja at a seminar on digital transformation and smart soldier concept, help officers of the 3 division Nigerian army and Operation Safe Haven at the Maxwell Khobe cantonment Rukuba Plateau state.
Technological advancement is shaping the way things are done in every sphere of human endeavor, in Modern warfare cutting-edge technology can make the difference between winning and losing.
It is against this backdrop that the Nigerian Army in its bid to keep up with Morden trends organized the seminar for middle and junior officers.

Deputy Head of the Army Department of transformation Major General Adewale Adetoba said the Nigerian army aims to leverage Modern technology for effective operations.
The chief of army staff represented by the general officer commanding 3 Division Nigerian Army Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar said the Nigerian army is poised to modernize its operations in line with world best practices.
The seminar will also cover other areas aimed at improving the Nigerian army’s capability to tackle security threats effectively.
