The Nigerian Federal government has once again reiterated its commitment to end crude oil theft in the Niger Delta region of the country.
Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, stated this when he led a Federal government delegation to Oporoza in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, where an impounded vessel laden with one hundred and nineteen barrels of suspected stolen crude oil, is being detained.

According to the Defence chief, a thorough investigation would be conducted and those found guilty will not be spared.
General Musa was accompanied by some top military officers and management team from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPCL.
