Tributes have been pouring in for the late flying Officer, Tolulope Arotile.
Leading the tributes is President Muhammadu Buhari who said her death caused deep pain in his heart. According to him, the late flying officer impacted greatly on the nation, especially in peace and security during her short stay on earth.
“The President salutes Arotile’s bravery in the field to protect the country from the onslaught of bandits and terrorists, assuring that her memory will be indelible, and her efforts remembered.”
President Buhari also commiserates with the Nigerian Air Force, airmen, airwomen and all friends of the deceased, recalling her deft skills in manoeuvring combat helicopters, which he had physically witnessed with pride.
Similarly, First Lady Aisha Buhari described the late Arotile as an intelligent young woman, a huge potential, a representative of both Nigerian women and youth, and what they could achieve.
The wife of the President condoled with the family of Arotile, the Nigerian Air Force, and the country over the irreparable loss.
In his condolence message, Senate President Ahmed Lawan also described Arotile’s death as very sad and unfortunate, saying her achievements in the service is a model for millions of Nigerian youths particularly the female gender.

Lawan commiserated with the family and friends of the late Flying Officer, the Nigerian Air Force, and the country as a whole.
