In loving memory of the late Founder Chairman Emeritus of DAAR Communications Plc, High Chief Raymond Anthony Aleogho Dokpesi, Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Eedris Abdulkareem has released a 3-minute 25 seconds emotional music video in honour of the deceased whom many have described as a philanthropist, bridge builder and broadcast industry game changer.
The song titled *DOKPESI SUN RE (DOKPESI REST WELL) was released on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, by the ace rapper in appreciation of the late Dokpesi’s contributions to the entertainment industry in Nigeria and beyond.

In the video, Eedris shed tears uncontrollably as he recalls with nostalgia the late Dokpesi’s humanitarian endeavors as well as his selfless and exemplary lifestyle while describing the news of his death as devastating.
The rapper eulogised the late media icon who pioneered private broadcasting in Nigeria with the establishment of Rapower FM in 1994, and later on set up Africa Independent Television (AIT) and Faaji FM.
