The Nigerian Army says troops have being mobilized and are currently in pursuit of the criminal elements in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State where members of staff and students of Government Science School, Kagara were kidnapped by Bandits.

A Statement by the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima says the Nigerian Army in line with its constitutional mandate wishes to reassure the general public that efforts are on by the troops, in operational synergy with Sister security agencies to ensure safe return of the kidnapped victims.
The spokesperson added that the Nigerian Army is calling on members of the general public to provide credible information to security agencies that would lead to the arrest of these criminal elements.
