A Nigerian, Stanley Anigbogu has won the title of Commonwealth Young Person of the year.
At an event at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, Secretary General, Patricia Scotland describes Anigbogu as a”true revolutionary- a visionary” for his innovation in waste recycling
Anigbogu said he felt honoured to beat 19 other finalists to clinch the top prize and will be spurred to develop more innovations.

He won a total five thousand pounds asides the trophy and certifcate presented by the Commonwealth scribe.
The Youth Award is a key event of the Commonwealth Day celebration marked on the 10th of March in the bloc’s 55- member countries
