As Nigerians continue to lament the hike in the price of goods and services as a result of the removal of fuel subsidies, they say life is no longer the same, calling on the government to look into ways of solving the problem.

This report takes a look at the pain most Nigerians go through to survive.

On May 29, 2023, President Bola Tinubu announced the removal of fuel subsidy a situation that did not go down well with many Nigerians. Almost three months later, many people are yet to come to terms with the hardship the removal has caused. For most Nigerians, the hike in the price of goods and services is one that has made life much more difficult.

They called on President Tinubu to put himself in the shoes of Nigerians so as to come up with a sound solution as to the way forward.

The Plateau State government is making some effort to cushion the effect of the hardship being faced by the people, but would it has not gone down well.

While some people argue that the measures being put in place by the government will, in the long run, lead to a more prosperous Nigeria, the question on most people’s lips is how long will this be.
