Nigerian Ambassador to the United States, Sylvanus Adiewere Nsofor, is dead.
Sources from Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the death of the 85-year old former Justice of the Supreme Court to ait.live.
He had been battling with his health, and had recently handed over affairs of the mission to the Charge d Affairs

Bangor succeeded Prof. Adebowale Adefuye, who also died towards the end of his tenure as Nigeria’s ambassador to US.
