Nigeria is set to embark on massive reforms of its justice system to make the Courts more accessible and ensure speedy punishment for offenders.
The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi is leading the campaign for the proposed reforms, along with the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the National Judicial Council (NJC).
The authorities said the outcome will see the adoption of a new National Policy on Justice, which will form the basis of proposals for legal and constitutional amendments that currently impede judicial progress in the country.
