One thousand, nine hundred candidates have been called to bar by the Council of Legal Education in Nigeria, following the successful completion of their bar final examination, held in July 2023.

As the Body Of Benchers highlights its plans for the new wigs, it however cautioned them against the negative use of social media, so as not to disrepute the profession.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria wants the new wigs to give word-changing and view-shaping services as lawyers.

The occasion was attended by families, friends and other legal experts.
