Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama has finally inspected the demolished building at Nigeria High Commission premises in Accra, Ghana.
In a statement issued by the Ministry, pictures from the site reveal that over seven months after the demolition and promise by Ghanaian authorities, work is yet to commence to rebuild it.
Onyeama also represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the second term inauguration ceremony of President Nana Akufo-Addo in Accra, Ghana.
The Minister ended the visit with an interactive session with a cross-section of members of the Nigerian community in Ghana.
He assured them that the government remains committed to seeing that all the issues affecting Nigerians in Ghana are resolved, urging them to remain good ambassadors of the country.

Recall that Ghanaian authorities offered to rebuild the demolished building in the Nigerian High Commission in Accra after it was demolished in June, 2020.
