The Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) protest in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, was held without any procession.
It is held within the confines of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE office in Jalingo.
The Chairman of the congress in Taraba State, Peter Jediel, threatened that if the government fails to address its demands, it will join its counterparts across the country in a strike action in one week.

Members of the congress carried placards and chanted solidarity songs, to express their grievances before the gathering dispersed.
