NLC Mourns former Speaker Ghali Na’aba

Late former House Speaker, Ghali Umar Na”Abba

The Nigeria Labour Congress says it is saddened by the passing away of the former Speaker, House of Representatives, Ghali Na’aba.

A statement signed by NLC President, Joe Ajaero says Ghali Na’aba will be remembered for his principled stance on national issues, asserting the independence of the Legislature, building of strong institutions ànd championing the cause and course of Nigeria’d nascent democracy at great cost to his person and office.

The NLC extends condolences to Na’aba’s family, his political associates and the leadership of the National Assembly.
