In commemoration of the 2022 world day for decent work, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has picketted some companies in Abuja for anti-labour practices, violation of Nigerian Labour laws.
President Ayuba Wabba who led the picketing alongside other Labour leaders, insists that modern day slavery is being practiced in some of the companies, who continue to blame covid-19 for their actions.

World Day for decent work is marked October 7 each year, to draw attention to the need to provide decent wages for workers, stop casualization and allow for unionization among others.
