The leadership of the Edo state chapter of Nigeria Labour Congress NLC this Thursday picketed the state secretariat of the Labour Party in the face of the conflict between the Nigeria Labour Congress and the leadership of the Labour Party which the labour union instructed its state councils and political commission to picket the party’s secretariats across the country over allegations against the national chairman chairman, Julius Abure of ‘financial rascality’ and contempt for the leadership of the NLC ahead of the party’s national convention

Although the Labour Party secretariat in Benin City was locked as at the time the labour union leaders led by the state vice chairman Suleman Abubakar got there, they also added another key to lock up the secretariat
