The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has suspended its two-day warning strike.
In a statement signed by NLC President, Joe Ajaero, all affiliate unions have been directed to resume work from midnight of Wednesday and to be in their various offices by Thursday September 7.
The NLC appreciated The workers for helping to test the waters in resolve for a comprehensive and indefinite action in a few weeks time, should government remain adamant to its demands.

The NLC said it was not unmindful of detractors and fifth columnists, who wanted the warning strike to fail. It said those who refused to comply are the true enemies of democracy, and no matter the odds it must fight for the better living conditions of the people.
The NLC however says it is always open for productive talks which will better the lot of the citizenry.
