Organised labour has threatened to ground the economy anytime the National minimum wage is withdrawn from the exclusive legislative list, while directing workers to downtool in 18 states yet to implement thirty thousand naira.
Labour also directed workers in Kaduna state to begin a five day stay at home following allegation of unfair labour practices against Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

Organised labour made this known at the 2021 International workers day in Abuja, where the federal government announced the approval of consequential adjustment on pensions, which is already been effected for workers salaries.
