A firm installment of labour activism in Gombe state with the flag off for construction of the secretariat by the Nigeria Labour Congress, and an endorsement of the state government’s support to the Labour movement in the state.
It started with a courtesy call by the leader of the labour union to the state Governor.
The Labour leader extolled the work by the state government and the welfare of its workers.
The state governor on its part assured the completion of the structure
Besides the talk on labour activities, the focus of the labour movement remains on the state of insecurity in the country
The story continues as Nigeria’s labour unions challenge the government over insecurity and dire economic realities while acknowledging the contributions of sub nationals on the welfare of their members.
