The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, have described the fuel, electricity tariff hike, and the push for water resources bill as anti-people and orchestrated tactics by the government to strangulate the ordinary Nigerian.
At a briefing in Abuja on Thursday, the organised labour threatened to cripple activities in some states where the Governors have deliberately refused to implement the adjustment of the New National minimum wage.
Policies described by the organised labour as anti-people include an increase in fuel and electricity tariffs, the controversial water resources bill and the Companies and Allied Matters Amendment Act, CAMA 2020.
The Unions said it has also began mobilising for protest over allegation of anti-labour practices in Rivers State.
