The Joint National Executive meeting of the organised Labour, on Tuesday morning, resolved to suspend the ongoing strike by 7 days.
Although, this has not been confirmed officially as a communique from the meeting is being expected.
No officials of the Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC), and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), were willing to speak to ait.live on the latest development.
Meanwhile, the organised Labour is yet to arrive at the venue of the 37-member Minimum Wage Tripartite Committee meeting.
The Government team has been meeting since 10:00 am, the time scheduled for the Committee to reconvene.
