Nnamdi Kanu In Court As Justice Omotosho Begins Fresh Trial on Terrorism Charges

Nnamdi Kanu and his lead lawyer, Kanu Agabi (SAN), are present in Court as Justice James Omotosho is about to sit on his case.

Some senior lawyers such as; Onyechi Ikpeazu, Emeka Etiaba, Mela Nunghe, Uchenna Njoku, among others are also seen to be part of Kanu’s legal team.

The matter was adjourned to today following Kanu’s not guilty plea after a seven count charge was read to him on the last adjourned date.

The trial judge granted accelerated hearing in the matter on grounds that the matter had daragged for over 9 years.

Before now, the case was before Justice Binta Nyako who recused her self from hearing the matter following Kanu’s oral application for her to do so.
