The New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP has won all the chairmanship and councillorship positions in all the 44 local government areas of Kano state.
Chairman of the state Independent Electoral Commission KANSIEC, Sani Malumfashi disclosed this while briefing journalist at the commission’s headquarters in Kano on Saturday night.

He said that of all the six political parties that participated in the election, NNPP won all the 44 local government chairmanship and 484 councilorship positions in the just concluded local government elections.
