The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu says the state government is leaving no stone unturned in its quest to rescue those still being held captive by the armed men who attacked the train station at Ekehen in Igueben Local Government Area.
Shaibu said this when he led some lawmakers to appraise the security situation in the area.
This is the second visit by the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, to the substation where travellers were abducted on Saturday
This time he is accompanied by both federal and state lawmakers from the state

The visit is to inspire the security operatives deployed to assist in rescue operations of those kidnapped and to provide a sense of assurance to members of the community.
The Deputy Governor wants members of the public to assist in the provision of credible information that would be useful in tracking and rescuing the remaining victims.
