Thirty seven year old Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar who has been ill for some time now has quit her long term acting career.
Her exit from acting was made public via her social media page Monday October 17, 2022 by her management team.

Halima Abubakar has been in the news for some months following her state of health which led to her calling out the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International Apostle Johnson Suleiman over an allegation of love affair between the duo; which Apostle Suleiman has denied.
Halima Abubakar began her acting career in 2001and has since starred in several movies prominent of which are the Area Mama, Slip of Fate, White Hunters, Men In Love and Tears of a Child.
