The Association of Non-indigines in Anambra State has pledged support for the reelection bid of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the November 8 off-cycle election in the State.
The non-indigines resident in different parts of the State as well as People with Disabilities who converged on the International Convention Centre, Awka say their support for Soludo’s second term in office flows from the Governor’s development strides and inclusive Governance style.
The latest endorsement comes on the heels of campaign of the APGA trail at Ekwulobia Community in Aguata LGA and the popular Awgbu Community market in Orumba North Council Area.
The gathering at the Campaign cut across people from Ebonyi, Imo, Enugu, Abia as well as those of Ijaw, Akwa Ibom, the Yoruba Communities and their Northern Nigeria counterparts.
The special presence of People with Disabilities added colour to the event with the crowd, turning the place to a fanfare.
An elated Anambra State Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo said with the latest endorsements, it was a clear and unambiguous statement that he was cruising to a reelection victory.
Not done, the people at the Endorsement rally had words of supports and solidarity for Governor Soludo, praising his works on infrastructure development, job creation and employment opportunities for non-indigines, conducive business environment as well as empowerment program they have benefitted.
Governor Soludo in a separate campaign rally in Ekwulobia community, Aguata Local Government Area where he received yet another endorsement, told the people to embrace their emerging modern city of Ekwulobia which is being transformed, calling for clean, aesthetic environment and to maintain government’s master plan of the area.

The Governor who first visited the popular Awgbu Community Market in Orumba North LGA of the State directed Local Authorities at the Market and Council chairmen to desist from imposing and collecting unauthorized levies from petty trader’s at the open markets.
In an unprecedented show of solidarity, the people of Ekwulobia community supported the Governor Chukwuma Soludo/Ibeziem reelection campaign with a whopping sum of 80million Naira.
